The Art of Don Ahn

Made alongside Manhattan Film Studio: I created beautiful flowing motion assets to be shown as part of a documentary about Don Ahn, the late Korean-American painter who created a large body of abstract painted works between 1954 and his passing in 2013.

I took art assets provided by the artist's estate and created flowing motion out of them, adding lines and oily paint to a virtual canvas stroke by stroke. I achieved this in Adobe After Effects and using AI upscaling techniques to give me more room to allow the visuals to breathe. See more of Don Ahn's work at his official website.
